Metals supplier to construction sector

For a metals supplier to the construction sector we undertook a short project to review the specifiers' experience of the brand.

Putting ourselves in a specifiers role, we examined the process of interaction with the company - looking at the various online and offline search and data sources, making telephone enquiries, and ordering samples. We highlighted the critical points in the specifier's 'journey', considered the information and feedback that would be required and compared competitor approaches.

Our client was already a leader in the field, so it was not surprising that there was no need for radical change. But our recommendations led to a series of small though significant improvements for example relating to enquiry response handling, the web experience, and sample packaging that together reinforced our client's leadership position.
