Professional body

The research we undertook for a professional institute showed how the profession's members were being experienced very differently by groups such as clients, co-consultants, and contractors. The positive image that the professional held of itself was reflected in some areas, but not in others. One consequence was that clients and others were turning to other professions to make up for the perceived shortcomings.

These findings proved to be a wake-up call for the profession and highlighted the need for the Institute to improve elements of the profession's underlying culture and training.

Working with the Institute's team we went on to communicate these messages to its professional members across the UK, via a series of roadshows. We also became involved in developing the professional training required to take on board the issues raised.
